Join AIA Ohio on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Sheraton Capitol Square, Columbus, Ohio for the 2023 AIA Ohio Advocacy Day. AIA Ohio\’s signature advocacy event offers every member the opportunity to impact the profession\’s future directly. Participate in AIA Ohio\’s Advocacy Day to put architects at the table for grassroots issues that are important to the profession in Ohio. After sessions that offer an overview of legislative activity in Ohio and surrounding states, Ohio\’s connection with National on legislative issues, and commentary on grassroots advocacy from invited legislators, members will meet with key legislators in both the House and Senate to outline AIA Ohio’s position on several issues that have been identified as key to the advancement of the profession. AIA Ohio\’s Advocacy Day allows you to fully engage in AIA Ohio\’s advocacy efforts. AIA College of Fellows
The AIA College of Fellows (College), an affiliated organization of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), supports the endeavors of those members elevated by the AIA to the College. A member of the AIA is elevated to the College when, through a rigorous submission process, the Fellows Jury of the AIA selects the member to be admitted to the College. Members are elevated for in one of six “Objects” and their contributions are required to have a ripple effect across the states and regions of the Institute. Between 3% and 4% of AIA members are, during their career, elevated to the College of Fellows.
